In 2007 according to 26,000 stay-at-home moms & 14,000 outside working mothers surveyed by Salary.com the typical stay-at-home mother is worth $138,095 for being a housekeeper, cook, day care center teacher, laundry machine operator, van driver, facilities manager, janitor, computer operator, chief excecutive officer & psychologist.  She puts in a 92 hour week, working 40 hours at base pay & 52 hours overtime.  An outside working mother who holds a full-time job would earn an additional $85,939 for the work she does at home.
